The Rum Diary

The Rum Diary is a film based on a Hunter S. Thompson's novel of the same name. The film was directed by Bruce Robinson and stars Johnny Depp along with Amber Heard. Johnny Depp's character, named Paul Kemp, is an itinerant journalist who grows tired of New York and America under the Eisenhower administration so he travels to Puerto Rico to write for The San Juan Star. Kemp begins the habit of overindulging with rum and becomes obsessed with the woman Chenault who is played by Amber Heard.

Moneyball is a biographical sports drama film directed by Bennett Miller. The film is based on a book, of the same name, written by Michael Lewis in 2003 which gives an account of the Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season. During this season the teams general manager Billy Beane, played by Brad Pitt, attempts to assemble a competitive team.

Puss In Boots

Puss in Boots is a 2011 computer animated adventure Western film from the creators of Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and directed by Chris Miller who directed Shrek the third. It stars Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Billy Bob Thornton, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Sedaris.


Contagion is a medical thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh. There is an impressive cast in Contagion including actors such as Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, and Bryan Cranston. Contagion is a thriller that is centered on the threat posed by a lethal indirect contact transmission virus that kills within days.


Warrior is a 2011 action drama film about two brothers entering a mixed martial arts tournament, and their relationship with each other and their father. The youngest son Tommy Conlon, played by Tom Hardy, of an alcoholic former boxer Paddy, played by Nick Nolte, returns home where he's trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament which puts the fighter on a collision course with his older brother Brendan, played by Joel Edgerton.

Real Steel is a science fiction sports movie set in the not to distant future where robot boxing is a top sport. Starring Hugh Jackman as Charles 'Charlie' Kenton who is a former boxer now in the world of robot boxing. The movie was directed by Shawn Levy, written by John Gatins, and also stars Dakota Goyo, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie, Olga Fonda, Karl Yune, Kevin Durand, Hope Davis James Rebhorn, and John Gatins. The film is partially based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson.

Ice Age 4: Continental Drift

Ice Age: Continental Drift, also known as Ice Age 4, is a 3D computer-animated film directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier. The cast includes of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, John Leguizamo, Seann William Scott, Josh Peck, with Jeremy Renner and Chris Wedge. It is the fourth installment of the Ice Age movie and it will be the first in the Ice Age series to be released in IMAX 3D.

The Sitter

The Sitter is a comedy film directed by David Gordon Green that tells the story of a male student named Noah Jaybird (Jonah Hill). After being suspended from college and now living with his mom he is lured into baby sitting caring for the kids of Mrs. Pedulla (Erin Daniels) for which he is woefully unprepared.


Scarface is a 1983 epic crime movie. It stars Al Pacino and was directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone. The film tells the story of Tony Montana (Al Pacino) who is a Cuban refugee that comes to Miami in 1980 as a result of the Mariel Boatlift. He soon becomes a drug cartel kingpin during the 1980s cocaine boom. The movie chronicles his rise to the top of the cocaine empire in Miami.
